Experience the magical winter feeling at Mount Fløyen!
Just 6 minutes from the city center, you can strap on your skis and head into the forest, surrounded by snow-covered trees. At the moment, conditions are excellent for a refreshing ski trip at Mount Fløyen.
Please note: Due to an autumn storm last year, several lampposts were damaged. If you plan to go skiing in the afternoon or evening, be sure to bring a good headlamp.
Take the Fløibanen funicular to the top station, then follow the road toward Brushytten Café to access the ski trail. The ski trail at Fløyen is approximately 5 kilometers long and often offers excellent skiing conditions even when the city below is completely snow-free. For up-to-date information on groomed and track-set ski trails at Fløyen, please check the trail map on the Bergen Municipality website.
There are currently great sledding conditions at Fløyen, making it the perfect opportunity to bring your sled. We recommend bringing the whole family or a group of friends and sledding down Fløysvingene.
Sledding at Fløyen is free of charge, but with a sledding ticket (day pass) you can take the Fløibanen funicular as many times as you like in one day. Simply take the funicular up and sled down as often as you wish. The sledding ticket can easily be purchased in the Fløibanen app under day passes. Please note that sleds are not included in the ticket price and must be brought with you, but Fløistuen Shop sells small sit-on sleds.
You are welcome to stop by Fløistuen Café or Fløirestauranten for something warm to enjoy.
